About the Hunt
Fountains of Faith
A group called The Guild Almoners, thought to be associated with the Golden Guild, led a secret crusade to ensure water could not fall into the hands of any dreaded tyrant who happened to set foot in the City of London in the United Kingdom.
By hiding secret codes, they could be sure the water at various sites was under their control. You just need to look them up. Follow the trail, listen to the whispers, speak the code words and gather the letters that spell a truth often overlooked, and within that truth also lies a warning.
How It Works
- I.Find the Fountain of Faith.
- II.Find the Code to break the seal using the whispers from the Almoners.
- III.Collect the letters to form the phrase of promise to the cause.
- IV.Decode the phrase into a single word which warns those who will listen.

The Rules
- •The hunt is self-guided and can be completed at your own pace — there is no time limit.
- •Visit each mark in sequence. Each code word you enter unlocks the next clue along the trail.
- •If you get stuck, you can request a hint at any mark — but using a hint forfeits your eligibility for any active prize or competition.
- •The hunt takes place outdoors across the city. Please be mindful of traffic, pedestrian access, and the opening hours of any parks or attractions along the route.
- •The Explorer's Expansion Pack is an optional extra — twelve additional marks you can seek out at your own pace, with no cipher to solve.
- •By taking part you agree to follow the Terms & Conditions and take responsibility for your own safety while exploring.
